  • I visited Jessica's blog site, http://jesspag.yolasite.com  and was reading the research she hasdone on Stephanie Meyer. I also love this author, and found it very intriguing that she had never planned on becoming an author, although she attended school, graduating with her Bachelor in English. Now, she is a well known author of the series, "Twilight."  I am looking forward to returning to Jess' page to learn more about her author when she updates it.
  • I also decided to check out Nicole's blog site, http://elocin.yolasite.com. I have heard a lot about the novel, "A Child Called It," by Dave Plezer, but have not had the chance to read it yet, despite the good reviews it has had. After reading the well written summery Nicole did up about the book, I am really wanting to start reading it! "A Child Called It" seems like an intense and heart wrenching story, but it would also be one that grasps your attention, so I am looking forward to that. I thought Nicole did an excellent job on her blog site- it is easy to navigate and had a lot of interesting information about Dave Plezer. By the information written on the biography page, Mr. Plezer seems to have had a rough life, yet he still writes award winning novels, and that is remarkable!

  • After visiting Alexa's blog page, http://chowchow69.yolasite.com. I am very suprised to find out Dr. Suess' name, really was just a writers name! I never knew that his real name was Theodore, and he was not an actual doctor.  I also have the same enthusiasm about this children's writer as Alexa. As a child, I read almost every single one of his books, my favorite being "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." I still enjoy reading a little Dr. Suess every once in a while- they are, in my opinion, some of the best children's books ever written.

  • I checked out Daniel's site today, http://dk93.yolasite.com and I thought he did a very good job on his blog page! It was organized and he had a lot of information on his author. I especially liked the you tube link he had- I thought it was very creative. Although I have not heard of Robert Jordan, I think the disease he suffered from sounds terribly painful! As well, it is also sad that he did not have the chance to finish of his last novel in the series, "Wheel of Time."
  • After visiting Ashleigh's blog site, http://ilovealexa.yolasite.com and revisiting a few others, I was very disappointed with the lack of information she has posted on her author, Judy Blume. As a child, I really enjoyed Judy Blume books and was looking forward to learning more about this author, but did not learn much by going to Ashleigh's page. I am hoping she updates it soon and does a lot more researching!
